Our process
How we clean this
- 1Pre-inspection. Walk the area with you, note stains, traffic zones, pet zones, and fiber type.
- 21–3 vacuum passes. Number of passes based on soil load — 1 for lightly soiled, 3 for heavy or commercial.
- 3Brush scrub. Rotary or hand brush to loosen embedded dirt from the base of the pile.
- 4Spot steam pre-treatment. Targeted hot steam on every visible stain before the full extraction pass.
- 5Hot water extraction. Professional-grade hot water extraction across the entire carpet surface.
- 6Post-clean inspection. Walk the area again with you, confirm every called-out stain was addressed.

Truck-mounted and portable extraction rigs matched to the property — apartments where hose length matters, or high-rise office suites where portable is required.
Purified R.O./D.I. water in the extraction line to reduce mineral residue in the pile.
Cleaning solutions are surface-appropriate and matched to fiber and soil condition — no universal organic-only or chemical-free claims.
Considerations
Surface-specific care
- Wool and wool-blend carpet is pre-tested and cleaned only if it passes; if not, we refer you to a wool-safe specialist.
- Berber loop is extracted at lower moisture to prevent wicking.
- Some carpet manufacturers set their own maintenance schedules for warranty purposes. Ask your manufacturer's documentation what interval and cleaning method they require, and Vapura will provide a dated receipt you can keep on file.

Most residential carpet is dry to walk on within 4–6 hours and fully dry within 24 hours, faster with airflow.
Will you move furniture?
Yes — we move light furniture as part of the service. Very heavy items (pianos, large armoires, water beds) stay where they are and we clean around them.
Are your solutions safe for pets and kids?
Yes. We use surface-appropriate cleaning solutions matched to the fiber, including lower-impact options where appropriate. Ventilate the space during dry-back.
